OCP Asia is Asia’s largest private credit manager, and their C-suite came to the table looking for one thing: a genuine appreciation of food and wine. Based across London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, this group has eaten at the best tables the world has to offer. What they had never done, in all their travels, was sit down to a modern Vietnamese fine dining dinner paired with local spirits and rice wine.
So, Saigon Social created an exclusive private dining experience just for them, one designed to impress the likes of discerning guests who rarely find anything new at the table.

The OCP Asia guests dressed in Hogwarts-inspired outfits during the workshop, creating a fun and lively atmosphere throughout the experience.
The Client’s Brief
OCP Asia needed more than a dinner. They needed an evening built for people who know exactly what good looks like.
- A Boardroom-Grade Address, Minus the Boardroom: A setting private and distinguished enough for the C-suite of Asia’s largest private credit manager.
- A Portfolio-Worthy Culinary Standard: A menu built around each guest, chef-designed down to the last course and matched spirit by spirit to the ingredients on the plate, not a generic corporate spread.
- Institutional-Level Execution: Professionalism in every detail, from organisation to the personnel delivering the night.
- A Room Built for Candid Conversation: An atmosphere that fostered closeness, where guests could relax into genuine, even emotionally moving, conversation.
What We Did
We turned Aiii House into a private supperclub for one night, built entirely around the four pillars OCP Asia asked for.
Down a Quiet Alley, We Built a Room Just for Them
Aiii House sits down a small alley, tucked away from the noise of main District 1. Its modern Vietnamese fine-dining setting was exactly the kind of distinguished, low-key backdrop that VIP guests appreciate. We booked out the entire restaurant exclusively for OCP Asia, so the C-suite had the space entirely to themselves.
Menu Designed to Impress Even the Most Discerning Guests
Together with Chef Alain Pham, we designed the entire course tasting menu from scratch, built exclusively for this event and this group, rather than pulled from an existing set list. For guests who have dined across London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, familiar luxury signifiers like foie gras or theatrical tableside gimmicks would have read as predictable, so we left them off the table entirely.
Instead, the menu leaned on technical mastery and the authentic character of Vietnamese cuisine, elevating everyday reference points like banh mi and rice cake into contemporary, individually plated courses. Sophistication came from precision and restraint rather than spectacle, which is exactly the kind of finesse a well-travelled, food-literate audience notices first.
Guests received a fully separate high-protein vegetarian tasting menu, built with the same care and structure as the main menu rather than treated as an afterthought.

Selecting Each Wine to Match the flavour of the dish
To match a menu this considered, we meticulously researched and selected every wine on the table, sourcing bottles specially for the group.
Alongside the wine, Jovel Chan sourced a pairing of local craft spirits, including an award-winning Vietnamese craft rhum infused with passion fruit, giving guests a taste of Vietnam they had never encountered on any of their usual circuits.
Every selection considered its unique flavour profile and the story behind it, chosen not just to impress but to genuinely complement the ingredients on the plate. Above all, we made sure the food and wine harmonized perfectly, so every course and every pour worked together to enhance the overall flavour experience.
Impressing a room of guests who have already dined at the world’s best tables is no small feat but it’s exactly where we thrive. If your leadership circle includes true culinary connoisseurs who appreciate the details and skip the gimmicks, we know how to design an evening that genuinely commands their attention. Let’s connect to craft an experience tailored entirely to the palates in the room.
